  • Travel on EAD

    Dear All,

Due to medical emergency I traveled to India with family. But problem is my L1 A visa is valid till Sep 2019 but it is not stamped and I have valid EAD+AP till Apr 2020.

    In this case

    1. Do I need to go for stamping and then travel to USA?
    2. or Can I travel on EAD+AP card without stamping, if yes then what documentation will needs to be carry while travelling.

    Thank you in advance

I think you can go for the stamp if you want to still be L1 visa. You can return with EAD/AP without L1 stamp.

I read elsewhere in this forum that a visa stamp is required on passport to travel through Europe or MEast. Did you have this or did you get a transit visa? Where did you go through and did you face any challenges?

No need of stamped visa required to travel through Middle east. EAD+AP combo card is enough. But if you need to travel to US through Europe, you need stamped US visa in your passport or transit visa of that country.
