  • Using EAD/AP tro travel europe (spain and greece)

I am planning to travel to spain and greece using AP. I am on OPT and my america visa has expired (but I do maintain my full time student status). Will there any problem at the airports and border? will they accept AP to let me enter spain and reentry to US?

    Thank you

I think EAD/AP is only valid to re-enter USA. Depending on your passport, you will need a visa or permit to travel to other countries.

Because F1 can't be dual intent, I think that when you return with AP you no longer be F1 OPT.

if i have a job on OPT, after I return with AP my OPT status will be terminated, would it affect my job in any way? since I will have EAD can i just switch to it?

Yes, you should talk with the school so they can close your file and at your work you just use the EAD to keep working. I guess the way you pay taxes will change but that is another topic.
