EAD expiring before L2 visa , can I get EAD extension for 3 months or as per the vali

Hi friends,

here is my status

EAD expiring : July 2010
L2/L1 visa valid till : Nov 2010
I-94 valid till : Jun 2012

if I apply for EAD renewal ,will my EAD get renew as per the I-94 date that means till 2012 or
only extend till my visa is valid that is for more 3 months.

When to apply for renewal of EAD

Hi,

I am residing in United States on L2 visa and my I-94 and L2 visa expiration date is 08 September 2011. However, my EAD Employment Authorization Document) card is only valid till 04 January 2011.

My question is that when should I apply for renewal/extension of the EAD till the I-94 is valid and what is the procedure to do it.

I don't want a gap in my career due to non-eligibility to work here. How can I ensure that there is no break in my work eligibility status and that I get the renewed EAD card by the time my old EAD card expires.
