I-765/I-131 Renewal : Questions

Hello,

My current I-765 combo card (I-485 based) expires in December 2019. I have a few questions about renewal:

1) I had last applied for renewal in September 2017 and was approved for December 2017-December 2019. Given the delays these days, would you recommend I apply for renewal in the first week of July?

2) Has anything changed in the application process since 2017 for I-765/I-131 renewal?

You can apply 180 days before your current EAD expired and I encourage you to apply ASAP

You can read the forms and check the instructions to see if there is any difference between what you did in 2017 and what they need in 2019. Good luck.
