On checking the status online i found that it was forwarded to a different location and below are the details

**** I was concerned and googled the instruction manual and found there are different versions of the instruction manual and look for the date at the bottom of the page. The mailing addresses were different and the instruction manual gets updated periodically ****

However mine was the latest and the address was correct but i am concerned if it has been delivered to a wrong address.I will wait for a week to see if the check has been cashed or if i get a receipt notice.

Just wanted to know if any of you had similar experiences.Pls advice

    Regards

Check not yet cashed and if you see the forums its taking more than a month for the acknowledgement receipt notice and around 2 1/2 to 3 months for the EAD at TSC.

The lewsiville address sounds familiar as i had seen it on a older version of i-765. My case, i had the correct address on file and its forwarded to a diff address. God knows if its reached the right place. Lets hope for the best...

I recently sent my I765 to the Lewisville address. It got fwded as shown above. The thing to note is the address "401 DFW turnpike" is that of the Dlallas head post office. So I believe its gone to the post boxes as shown in the other address.

Any news from both of you? Did the check get cashed? One of my friend sent it to the post box address to Dallas and he got an email confirmation based on the new system of email/text notification by USCIS. Hope the packet has reached the right hands. Please update the thread if you get anything from USCIS

            Recipient Address

I also recently filed my N-400 and it got forwarded to Dallas on 04/04/10 and signed for by Chris Thornquiskl.
The check hasn't been cashed yet and I haven't received my NOA or an email saying they got my application.
            I am so worried.
Please if anybody is going through the same thing and has received a positive outcome, let us know

              Hello All

I had posted a similar question on a different forum. There are many folks who are in the same boat and its very normal.Nothing to worry! Its been re-routed to the correct address. In fact one person had sent his application on April 1st and got email confirmation on April 8th and it was mailed to the same address as mention in this thread. I would say he is lucky to get in 8 days! I had submitted mine on mar 23 rd and as of today no updates. Pls keep posted of any updates.

              Good Luck...

                Finally

As of this morning, I was so worried that my mailed N-400 had been lost so I called the USCIS NCS and in less than 1 minute, i was speaking to a LIVE person. I explained to her that I mailed my forms and fees and pics on 04/01/10 and to date I hadn't received my NOA or an email confirming they had received it. She asked me for my A # and then placed me on hold and after 5 minutes, she told me they had received it and said there was an accident involving a mail truck a few weeks ago and it delayed a lot of applications.
She then gave me my receipt # and said a letter will be mailed out shortly with instructions.

Yipppeeeeeeeee is all i can say and if you are still waiting for answers, call this # 1-800-375-5283. Best time to call is at exactly 8 am when the lines are open or at 7.58pm 2 mins before their offices close.
                Best of luck

                      No Luck

I did call the INS 1800 # on friday and asked for my application status. One lady told me to check back after 30 days and i requested her to lookup by my A# if my application was received. She refused and told to call back after 30 days and told me that i will receive the receipt notice by 30 days. I did chk on other forums and recently one got the confirmation from TSC after 1 month 10 days. Looks like i need to wait for some more time...

On the USCIS website, there is an anoncement about :

Change of Filing Location for Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization

I sent my wife’s EAD renewal application I-765 two weeks ago ( around 4/5/2010) to USCIS Nebraska Service Center but I haven’t got a receipt since then. So I reviewed the USCIS web site and I just noticed that the USCIS had changed the filing office address to Phoenix, AZ. Since I have the impression that we need to file EAD 90 before it expires ( my wife’s EAD will expire on 7/21/2010), should I wait until I get the returned application due to the wrong address or can I send another application to the correct address before I receive the returned application (in order to file it 90 days before it expires)? You advise is very appreciated.
