EAD Expired C9 category- 180 day extension Pl help

I'm a housewife and currently not working, I got a Job offer but my EAD was expired but applied for a renewal before the EAD expiry. Does anyone of you know if i can start the work using the expired EAD and 765 receipt that is eligible for 180 day extension. Any help is appreciated.
