  • AP after sending the initial application

I submitted my I-130 + I-485+ I765 in August, but didn't submit I-131 as I had no short term plans to leave states.
I have done my bio-metrics on September 3, and the status has been review completed since September 4.

There is a potential family event that I would like to attend in spring 20, but by the rate GC is geeting approved, I don't thin I will have my GC in hand by then.

My question being, can i submit my I-131 now? If yes, will it impact the timeline of my AOS (485) or 130 application? TIA

ps: Yes i should've submitted my 131 along the other forms, but thats past now.

Yes, you can apply for AP now (still for free), with a copy of your I-485 receipt, but it's hard to say whether you will get it before your event

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

Do you think it will have any impact on my EAD card process timeline? I have validity till MArch 20 to stay in the country.. or should i just wait?

No, it will not affect the EAD
