in the past i have submit service request few times and each time i got the response within 3 weeks.

First email them. then they will tell you what to bring and first they will send a privacy letter that needs to be filled.

Depending on your service center you will need to wait 5 or 7 months before being able to file an online inquiry. If you have a job offer you can try to expedite your EAD.
