Processing time of EAD (New Jersey)

Hello everyone,

My timeline is:
Marriage with USC / I-130, I-485, I-765 / New Jersey

12/18/2019 - Documents sent to USCIS
12/23/2019 - Case was received in USCIS
01/02/2020 - RoA x3 in my mailbox (I-130, I-485, I-765)
01/18/2020 - Fingerprints appointment scheduled
01/28/2020 - Fingerprints done in local ASC
01/30/2020 - Fingerprints were applied to my case
02/18/2020 - Ready to schedule my interview (I-485)

I want to ask about predicted EAD processing time, i’m not sure what is my office center (on my RoA about I-765 it says National Benefits Center, is this correct?) so i don’t know how long it might take - i saw some people had ‘card in production’ few days/week after ‘ready to schedule interview’ - is there chance i’ll get it soon also?

Yes, NBC is correct. It usually takes between 5 and 7 months for EAD (information from: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ )

Marriage to USC usually results in no EAD. In some cases, they approve the EAD and it arrives just a few days before the GC and at that point that is useless because as soon as you get your GC the EAD is not needed (no longer valid even).

I got my card 15 weeks after filing. I'd say you'll probably get it in the next 5/6 weeks
