AP approved then fingerprints were taken???

Hello everyone,

Please help if you can

I applied for i-131 in August/2/2019, then on January 24/2020 it was approved but I never received the document, so I waited for a month then called USCIS asking for updates. The officer said, you are still within normal processing times and have to wait even though the form is approved. Is he correct?
Then today I find that my status is updated to: Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken

Is this normal?

USCIS customer service agents reads/say the same thing that you see online by yourself. They are not very helpful. You should have spoke to tire 2 officer. Second, USCIS website is not reliable either. if i were you i would wait one more month then contact congress person.
