  • EAD and SS - question

Hi, as for today i got e-mail that my EAD card is in production, and it should come in 30 days.
So i have a question - my social security number is coming in same package? (I don’t have any SS yet) or should i go to my local Social Security office with my EAD to get one?

Thank you for answer, i was doing my AoS by agency, but i’m pretty sure she did file for both, i will call her and ask tomorrow to be 100% sure, so if she did file for both - it should come together with EAD?

Our SSN (spouse and child) arrived 2 weeks after EAD. After 10 days we visited the SS office and they said that the cards were already mailed.
Some people receive them the same day, some people a few days later.
Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021

go to Social Security office and apply there. It should not take you more than an hour.
