Only one receipt notice after EAD/AP renewal application

Hi there,

5 weeks ago, I submitted renewal application for i-765 along with another i-131, but I only got a receipt notice for i-765. I currently have a EAD/AP valid until May.

Is it normal to just get one receipt in this case, or should I inquire about the i-131 with USCIS?

Also, is it normal to get another biometrics appointment every time you renew?

We sent 3 renewals and we received 6 receipts. This is the first time we renew and the status updated to show fingerprints were taken, but without biometrics appointment. Don't know how normal this is.
