I-485 EAD Renewal - Current Status Question

Hi,

My I-485 is still pending and I'm in process of filing for EAD renewal.
My visa has expired now but my current EAD is still valid for few more months.
I have a query on Ques. 25 of I-765 application (Current Immigration Status). What should I fill as Current Immigration Status?
Should it be Adjustment of Status or Pending I-485. Please let me know if anyone had this experience.

From what I read, you don't have status. We renewed the EAD without a status and we put "Pending I-485" all 3 EAD combo cards approved in less than 5 months.

Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021
