Hello,
My I-765 for J-2 EAD renewal was received by USCIS on March-19-2020.
Without any update from USCIS and seeing that the processing time is now more 5-6 months than 3 months I requested an expedite process. beginning of June.
On June-10, I received an answer about my expedite process. The answer says: "The expediting of a case allows it to be sent quickly to an officer for adjudication. However, your case is currently under review by an officer. We regret that we are not able to give you a time frame for when we will complete the review of your application."
today June-18 (more than 1 week after the USCIS answer), my case status online is still not updated. (still show "case was received")
Does anyone know what is the current processing time when a case is "under review by an officer"? I understand that this status is after the "in line to be review by an officer" and I saw online that it may take about 1 week when a case is on this status but I can't find any reliable information.
