EAD Card mailed

Hi there,

My EAD card got approved 6/22 and has not been mailed out since.
I've got a job offer pending/am supposed to start a job next Wednesday and getting rather desperate to receive the card.
Has anybody had any similar experiences/advice?

I am in the same boat. Mine got approved on 6/3 but no update since then. Did you do your biometrics? I've heard that the delay in printing could be due to the missing biometrics step. Mine were scheduled on 3/18 - the day USCIS ASCs closed due to Covid! Now, I am waiting to receive a new appointment notice for biometrics and hoping that my card is processed in the next few days. I've a job offer that will be rescinded if I don't get the EAD by this week!

I’m on the same boat as my card was approved June 30th and I’m supposed to start my new job July 20th and card hasn’t been mailed either argh ????

Unfortunately no. It hasn't been to even production yet. I don't know if the delay is due to lack of biometrics or something else - it's very frustrating as I ended up losing my job offer!

So sorry to hear that. My employer moved my hire date and told me to tell them once I get my card hopefully it doesn’t stay too long.

I hope you get it soon. Was it a renewal or a new I-765 application? I am wondering if you did biometrics because that seems to be holding things up for some people?

It’s strange because I did my biometrics March 11 and a new I-765. Also expedited it so I don’t understand why it’s taking forever.
