I filed concurrently - I-130, I-485, etc. Family-based, married to a USC. I received a RFIE for my I-485 application. (Issue is related to I-864 form). Was wondering if my EAD application will also be placed on hold until I submit the RFIE requirements? My existing EAD (which i got from my F1-OPT status) will expire this September and I am hoping to get a new EAD based on my AOS application. I’m planning to submit a request to expedite.

7/20/20 - received NOA
7/22/20 - RFIE notice received
8/10 - sent RFIE response
8/13 - USCIS received response
8/26 - Sent expedite assistance to Congressman & Ombudsman
8/27 - Sent expedite request to USCIS
8/31 - USCIS declined expedite request
10/16 - Submitted e-request - did not receive notice by mail
12/11 - biometrics appointment -
From what I understand, EAD applications are put on hold if an RFE/RFIE is issued. -
