My EAD was expired but I have my Green Card, am I required to take any steps to update my I-9, or should just wait for my Employer to contact me?

Your green card is your work authorization now. Call Human Resources and let them know so they can update their records.USC filed AOS for parents on B2. I am not a lawyer.

1. Contact your HR department. Show them / send a copy of the greencard so they can update your file.
2. Visit the Social Security Office (when they resume services) and have your record updated. They will also send you a new SS card without "employment with USCIS authorization only" removed.
3. If your current driver license has "limited term" on it, you can visit the DMV to have the record updated / new license issued (you'll need to pay the license fee though)Opinion only. Cannot be construed as legal advice.
