Hi!
I’m sorry I don’t have an answer to your question, but I want to ask which immigration office took your biometrics? My case should be handled by the Cleveland Office. I submitted my i-485 and I-765 back in May, but I haven’t received a biometrics appointment yet.
Good luck!

Hey there,
They changed the processing time to secure their back so nobody can file for "outside of normal processing time" anymore.
Some people on Reddit called USCIS about it and were asked to "wait" (pretty surprising, right?)
I have been waiting :
- for a biometric appointment for 166 days (5.5 months)
- for a reply to my EXPEDITE I765 request for 23 days
- for a reply from the Ombudsman's office (after they contacted USCIS about my case) for 10 days
AOS (marriage) NBC - Miami, Fl

Man, I called the USCIS last week to submit an expedite request for my I-765. Guess what they said? “You can’t submit a request for an initial I-765 before your biometrics appointment.” I feel like every time you ask about something you get s different answer. The thing is, I need the work permit for government work!
