Hello,
My priority date has become current in the Date of Filing in Oct 2020 bulletin and I have been asked to collect documents to apply for AP, EAD.
The company that primarily filed my I140 was acquired by another company. My attorneys have assured that filing I485 with Supplement J would suffice to prove the "successor in interest" and that a new I140 need not be filed with I485. Has any one gone through such a situation and if yes, is filing Supplement J enough to prove the employment?
