Hi,
My current EAD is expiring on 09/04/10. I applied for renewal of new card on 07/02/10 but I couldn't provide back side copy of my old EAD card as i couldn;t find my card last minute. I have copies of my EAD card but not the actual card. But I sent the renewal application along with Husband's as we are cutting close to expire date. I put all other documents like my I-94 front and back copy with AOS-Parolled stamping, copy of I-485 reciept and even copy of the letters in which i had received my previous EAD cards(it contains some kind of number thought may help USCIS locate my applicaiton easily.
Q.1: Could this be a problem? How important is it to have back side copy when applying for renewal of EAD Card? should i also apply for replacement card? Can I continue to work?
Q.2 I am going to Canada this weekend and i have valid AP with me? Do i need EAD card to re-enter? Can i re-enter with copy of card?
