Entering on AP for first time

Hello,

I'm entering on AP for first time. I have AP, I-485 Receipt Notice, but NO EVL.
Will there be a problem ?
How many people have been asked for EVL (or similar letter) ?
What questions can be asked ?

If not employed, what to say about employment ?

How is secondary inspection ?
What questions can be asked ?

Do remember that anytime the POE is like playing russian roulette if you do not carry adequate documentation specialy if you are still not a PR or even a PR returning after 6 months etc when you can be stopped at POE.

Standard Questions --

1. How long have you be out ?
2. What was the purpose of your visit ?
3. What do you do ?

I have most had these questions asked and let in in under 2 minutes (never travelled on AP but on H1 & later on a GC, now with a US passport so usually questions about your vacation .. thats all).

However I did have one experience where I entered LAX (in transit) due to my plane being re routed when I returned from Bangkok and I was interview for half hour and all my H1 documentation was checked.

So anyhting is possible.

Is ORIGINAL EVL (or similar letter) required OR scanned printout enough ?
What is format of the letter ?
