Motion to Reopen/ reconsider after H4 EAD Rejection

Hi,

We have filed H1, H4 & H4 -EAD together in Dec 2019. H1-B converted to Premium so got approved in 15 days and We came India in Feb 2020 but because of Covid we couldn't travel back to US. We got stamping done for H1-B & H4 here in India in Feb 2021. Later USCIS sent rejection for H4. Now in May2021 USCIS send rejection for H4-EAD reason "No valid H4 visa (as they refered case filed for H4 extension)". and in letter they have mentioned we can file motion to Reopen / Reconsider in 33 days from the USCIS decision.

I wanted to check if we can file Motion to Reopen / Reconsider from India or not ?

Hi,
What happened to your case? Did you filed I290B MTR or filed a new application altogether. Our H4 EAD got denied since we withdrew H4 .. I thought I290B MTR will take lesser time than filing a new one. So I filed MTR yesterday. Please share about your status.
