I filed my i485 (marriage based) on September 2019, and had my biometrics appointment on October 2019, Sacramento FO. I didn't know that I could have filed the i765 with the i485 for free, and nobody around me knew that either. As 20 months passed with no interview, I desperately looked for information and discovered that I had that right. Fortunately, these forums exist!!! I sent the i765 on June 1st, 2021. I haven't received anything yet, no receipt, nothing in relation to the i765. What can I expect? Will USCIS use my biometrics from Oct/19? When can I expect my EAD and AP card?

It is taking more than 2 months to get the receipts for i765. Approvals are taking longer than ever, it may take 11 months to get your card, even renewals.
