EAD and I-94

Hi,

I am currently working on EAD on L2 status and my EAD is valid until May 2012. I am planning to visit India in Dec 2010 for a few days and wanted to know if my current EAD will be valid after I come back from India in Dec 2010?
Can someone please let me know on the above?

Yes, provided the L1 holder still maintains the status upon the return.
