Hi!
I'm a postdoc applying for the NIW-EB2. I already filed I-140 couple of months ago. Now I'm waiting for my husband (J2) to be in the USA for 90 days to file I-485/I-130, I-765 together. When filing I-765 what should I put in the box 25: current immigration status?
Should it be J1, or already change of status since I'm filing with I-485?
Also box 1a) is it initial permission to accept employment (even tho I had a DS-2019 that allowed me to work in the USA.
I'm afraid with the current timing anything will be on time before my J1 expires which will leave me unemployed... (DS-2019 expires mid april). will be filing by the end of July.
