Working fully remote for an out-of-state employer while waiting for EAD/GC

I am currently working in State-A for an employer based in State-A. My I-765 and I-485 applications were submitted to USCIS more than 180 days ago. If I understand correctly I can change job now leveraging AC21, even though my EAD and GC are still pending.

Can someone kindly advise what I need to do, if:

1. I change my job now and work for a company in State-B as a fully remote employee working from State-A before receiving the EAD card?
2. I change my job now and work for a company in State-B as a fully remote employee working from State-A after receiving the EAD card?

You should contact a lawyer instead of asking random people on the internet. It's not as simple as do this or that.
