How long does it take to issue the combo card after I-765 and I-131 are approved?

Hi,

The USCIS online case status for my mother's I-765 and I-131 forms currently says case approved (based on pending I-130 and I-485). Does this mean that the combo card is already issued? Can she travel overseas before the actual mail comes in with the card? and of course, I will send it to her prior to her USA re-entry. Any similar real experiences would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Sometimes they approve but the card is not produced (rare). Is better to travel with AP in hand. I will not risk mail/ship the AP.
Usually, the card is delivered a week after approval.
