Hi all,
I worked in US for some years on H1 visa and my wife was on H4 visa. I recently switched to using EAD (based on AOS) after my H1 visa expired. I have not filed for an EAD for my wife as she does not plan to work. Now we want to apply for Advance Parole. I have a couple of questions:
1. Do we need to go through the biometric process again as we already did it when we applied for I-485? If not, just sending a check of $305 would suffice?
2. There is a document requirement that states to submit a USCIS document showing our valid status in US. I have my EAD but my wife does not. Does she need an EAD first to apply for AP? If not, what can I send them as a substitute for her application?
I would appreciate if anyone can answer these questions. TIA.
