End taking too long, can't reach real person through uscis customer service

Hey everyone, I am put in my renewal ead last year and my processing date is July 1, 2021. My Ead card has already expired and am working with the extension now which expires in June 2022. The wait is an 8 months ago of now so this is an incredibly long wait time. This is the 4th Ead am to receive and this has been the longest I have ever waited. I am really scared and I tried contacting Uscis and I cant seem to get a hold of a LIVE PERSON. My 2 questions are:

1) how can I get in contact with a LIVE PERSON via uscis phone line ( it seriously was impossible)

2) Does anyone have a clue what is going on with the renewal eads processing time taking too long

i really feel like crying because I am completely dependent on my Ead to survive. Its the one thing that keeps me hanging on.

I just checked the processing times on the uscis website and since am under c9 category, it says processing time is 7.5 months 12.5 months!! Wow, even with the 180 days extension, that means that a person might lose their employment eligibility because the extension does not cover the rest of rhe processing time. Isnt this a terrible situation?? They should make extensions longer if processing times are now longer. I wonder what I can do to expedite my case, am really desperate

I have the exact same timeline! I am also waiting for my EAD and it's getting me anxious
