My girlfriend was sponsored for her GC by her Dad as a derivative of his employment GC application when she was under 21. In July 2007 when the priority dates suddenly got current they filed for their adjustment of status and received their EADs and are now on Advanced Parole. The priority dates then regressed and they are currently waiting for their VISA numbers.
I have the following questions for the situation if I get married to her now before she receives her GC :
- what happens to her EAD and GC status ?
- Do I have any benefit from her GC application ? ( I have applied for my GC through my employer and am currently going through labor certification)
- Can I atleast get an EAD quickly based on her application ?
