EAD based on L2 Visa

Hi ALL,

I am in USA on L2 visa (My spouse has L1 visa) and is under renewal.
We have not received any approval yet.
I have queries related to EAD.

1. Is it possible to apply for EAD and then leave country for a month ? Can i leave country when my EAD is in process ?

2. Is it possible to work without EAD or when EAD is under process ?

3. Can i apply for H1 visa when my EAD is under process ?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Explanation:-
1. I-94 becomes invalid. Increases chances of getting RFE.
2. Illegal.
