Traveling first time with AP

Hi Folks,

I need your help in planning & preparing for my India travel. My husband is on an H1B visa, while I'm using my EAD and have a valid AP until Feb 2012. I will be traveling alone and this will be my first travel on an AP. What documents should I carry with me besides my AP document and EAD. What procedure should I look out for and what would be my status once I re-enter U.S?

I received two identical AP documents (1-512L, Authorization for Parole), what should I expect at the port of entry.

Please share your experience and knowledge on this. Thanks!

If your H4 visa has expired there may be problems transiting through some countries (UK, Germany).

Also, I don't know if you want to/need to get an H4 visa on your return. You may want to ask that on this forum and possibly to an attorney.
