Hi, My wife has received an I 521 L" Authorization for parole" document today.
Her situation:
1. Applied for GC Priority date 07
2. I 485 is in pending status. We are aware that our dates are current now, but we did not receive any official communication.
3. She has an advance parole that will expire by August 6th.
4. So, we have applied for a new AP now.
5. She had to travel to India before the new AP got approved. However, she will return while the old AP is still valid.
6. We have checked with our attorney and they said it should be fine and she can return with her old AP.
7. Today , we received the i521 documents in yellow envelope.
What does this document mean? Does it mean our Advance parole has been approved?Do I have to mail her the document?
Does this document affect our 485 process in anyway. What could happen at the immigration check at the port of entry?
