Traveling with pending Advance Parole and return by Stamping H4

Friends,
My wife had entered USA using advance parole and without a stamped H4 visa in 2009. Currently she has applied for a renewal of advance parole in 2nd week of August 2011 which may take on average 3 months to arrive. My question is, can she travel to India in october and return in Jan. 2012 and in India get her H4 visa stamped (for which she has approval from sept 2009- sept. 2012) even though she has applied for renewal of advance parole and it is not adjudicated. Her current advance parole expires on Nov 22nd 2011. Recently I went to India but I did not stamp my H1 visa because I had valid Advance parole.
How difficult it is to get h4 visa stamped in Hyderabad consulate, the list of documents is quite extensive.

You are inviting complications here. If your latest status is parolee, your wife may not be able to enter in H4 status. Latest status depends on latest I-94 (issued at POE or at the bottom of approval notice). You should contact a good experienced immigration lawyer about this.
