I got the greencard when my priority date was current in Oct 2011. Since I got married after the greencard was filed, my wife's application was filed also on Oct 2011. She is currently on OPT and it expired April 15th. She already has finger printing done and got receipt notice for I485 & Advance parole. The question is, if she does not get EAD by April 15th what are the options for her to stay in the US. Can she stay based on the receipt notice or does she need to transfer to a visitor's visa? Any thoughts will help.
