EAD renewal fee

I-485 receipt date is 16th Aug 2007; my first EAD expired 2 years back, now I am applying for renewal. As per the I-765 application instructions, there is no fee if the I-485 was applied on or after 30th July 2007, but there is no field to cross check this date in the application. I-765 application charge of $380 has appeared in the E-Filing application. Am I missing something?

You don't pay separate I-765 fee for initial application as it is part of I-485 fee.

However, you need to pay it again for the renewal.

i dont want to say your lying. but here is my situation i already have an EAD, back in January i sent the paperwork for the renewal, and i send the $380.00 money order, and a few days later i got a letter, stating that they do not require the use of this money order, and they kept my other documents, the day after i got that letter i got another letting me know that my case is being process.

i dont know under which category you but me is (c) (9), base on pending I-485. so first give them a call talked to a Representative and check if you have to pay.
