  • Visit to canada

I want to visit canada for 10 days.
I have Advance Parole and EAD and my I-485 Approval is pending. Can I enter US based in AP and EAD ?
Or Do I still need visa stamping at US Consulate-canada to re-enter US, based on my H 1 visa ?

If your current status is H1, you can use automatic visa revalidation (AVR) to return to US. All you need to do is keep your I-94 with you when you leave US and return from Canada within 30 days. This way you can maintain your H1 status. If you return as a parolee, your dependents if any will not be able to maintain H4 status. If you don't have dependents it probably does not matter much.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.

      Hi,
Thank you for your reply. Currently I do not have H1-B stamped on my passport. I only have the I-797 approval notice. Can I re-enter US on the basis of my H-1B approval notice even if it is not stamped on my passport?Or will I need to get it stamped in Canada? I am on my wife's GC application and we have our EAD and AP currently.

Please search and read about automatic Visa revalidation. You need to keep your latest I-94 (one obtained at POE or one at the bottom of approval notice) when you leave the US and you can return from a short (<30 days) trip to Canada/Mexico without having a valid Visa.
