Hi - I got my undergraduate degree in 2003 and worked on a valid EAD card (OPT) from January 2004 to October 2004. In October 2004 i switched to H1-B status and worked on H1-B status till April 2010. I have a copy of the last H1-B petition and the I-797 notices.
Now I am completing my Graduate studies and am currently applying for OPT. However, I can't seem to find the first EAD card. Is there anyway to get a copy of that card? The card would have expired in January 2005 if i recall correctly.
On the OPT form that I am filing, it asks for copies of previous periods on OPT. How do I explain the missing EAD card?
