Conversion from an L1B to an L1A visa, will the dependent's EAD be valid?

Hi All,

My husband is on an L1B visa and is in the process of converting his L1B visa to an L1A visa. I have applied for my EAD just a week back. His L1B visa is valid till September 2012. and our i94 is valid till February 2013.

Will I have to renew my EAD when my husband's visa gets converted to an L1A? Please suggest how do I have to go about this.

It's not needed, as long as your EAD is not expiring soon. For L1A and L1B, L2 is the same.
