L2 in same company

Hi,
Me and my husband works in the same company. My husband is being transferred to US on L1 visa. I have also got L2 visa approved. Now my company would like to retain me and offering me a Job in US. Can I file an EAD while I am in India or my company will file this while I will move to US? Since EAD is a long procedure, so am I allowed to work there till I get my EAD?

L2 in same company

You have to first come to US, get EAD and then only are allowed to work . Is illegal to work on L2 without EAD. This is my opinion.
