H4 to EAD

I am on H1-B in the US for 6 years and have applied for GC. I read this article


it says my wife may be eligible for EAD. Is this true? Does anybody have any insight?

That rule is only a proposal and has not been implemented.

If you have filed I-485, your spouse can apply for EAD.
