Hi friends,
I'm working for a client as a Software Engineer. There is only one layer between my employer and the client. It has been a while since I'm on this contract which is a good thing. But there hasn't been any raise in my billing rate so far. There is a 80/20 agreement with my employer. So he won't be able to give me a raise unless there is a raise from the client or middle vendor side. I have requested the client through the middle vendor about the raise twice, but both times I got negative answer from my middle vendor. Can I talk about the raise with my client directly? Would it help if I change the middle vendor without losing this contract? Is it even possible? I really don't wish to lose my employer and the client.
I would really appreciate your suggestions. Thank you.
