  • employer not giving experience& relieve letters

    Hi

I am on H1B visa. I resigned a software company in USA by providing 2 weeks notice. Employer is not willing to give my experience and relieve certificates. As I worked for 6 years for that company, I feel it is my right to get them. Please advise how to get through US law.

    Thanks
    Jay

They are not required to give that as per the law. You should have taken those before you quit.

Use your H1b offer letter, paystubs, H1b petition letter from employer written to USCIS etc as proof of your experience.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.
