Jobs in 2009 for H1b

Hi,

I have H1B stamped already from an "employer A". I didn't travel to US even once. My visa has got the validity till Sep'2009.

I want to travel in january 2009 and search for job there.

Can anyone advice on this?

On H1b, you have a job, with your employer. You need to be paid from day 1 on your job to maintain legal status. Project or not, is immaterial. As far as the H1b goes, you have a job, with your sponsor.
