Hi,
I am living in USA. Apart from my US salary, my company has an option to continue getting base salary in India which gets deducted from US salary. I opted for this option so that I could contribute to VPF fund as there is no investment vehicle in US which pays 8.5% assured return.
Now I am planning to shift to an American company which may not have option to provide me an Indian salary. I am getting 20% hike in USD. But I may not be able to contribute to VPF. Not sure if this is a good deal from long term perspective? or is there any way I can continue contributing to VFP somehow after joining US firm? Please suggest.
