Working overseas when AOS in EB1(c) is pending

My employer is asking me to go back to India and work from there for 1 or 2 months. My GC is in process in EB1(c)category and the I-140 is approved and currently I-485 (AOS) is filed, and bio-metric is pending.
1. Can there be any impact on my Green Card process in EB1 category if I work for my employer from outside US ?
2. If I go back to India after closing my current assignment, work in India for some time and then come back to US then I would need to file another I-9 form. Can there be any impact on my EB1 case due to the new I-9 form ?

Note that my biometric is not yet done, and my understanding is that it will be delayed further if I travel to India.

I am really perplexed and desperately need your expert advice here.

1. Not a problem if you get approved Adance Parole before leaving.
2. As long as you have got EAD or have valid H/L, there is no problem in filling new I-9 form.
