EB1 possible on H1B Visa?

Hello,

I am in the US on L1B VISA since 2010 and eventually got promoted to a management position (on the rolls of company X). This year I did a COS from L1 to H1 and right now I am on H1 and still working for company X as a leader. ( I have been working for the same company in India and in the US for the past 8 years).

Can my company file GC application on EB1 for me?

It all depends on the job specifications and your qualifications. In general, looking at the information that you provided, chances are less. EB2 will be the best bet. But, all that is up to your employer to decide.
