Dependent of GC holder

My employer X will file a GC for me in next 6 months but my wife will come to US after 6 months from that period. I have below questions:

1. By what time/ before which stage of GC process, my wife should be in US to avoid any issues?
2. Once my wife is in US(in H4 visa), what's the procedure to include her to my GC application?
3. During which stage of GC, I can change my Employer X with impacting my priority date?

1 & 2. You can include at the time of filing I-485, adjustment of status.

But, My wife(in H4) can come to US before filing I-485. Is that correct?
