Similar job in new group same company PERM in process

I have my PERM currently in process (filed but not approved). Working on H1B

We have another opening in another group within our company. The job description and job title is the same. The job geogarphical location is also the same. It however provides some benefits career-wise.

If I plan to accept this position in the other group, will it affect my PERM/GC process? Will it affect my H1B?

Please advice.
