Hi,
I'm on L-1B and considering to obtain a green card. Since my degree is not related to my current work, I was told from HR to switch to H-1B first and then obtain a bachelor's or master's degree.
There are some postings and replies saying that online university degrees are accepted as long as that university is accredited. But the immigration lawyer my employer hired told me that degrees from online universities won't be accepted when applying for an employment-based green card.
Can anyone tell me which is correct?
To be specific, the universities I listed are University of Phoenix and National University.
Thank you,
Stosh
